Art Basel may have come and gone, but lucky for us locals plenty of exhibits and remnants from the fair still linger. Case in point: The Chihuly exhibit at Fairchild Tropical Gardens! On display through May, the collection of spectacular glass sculptures nestled throughout the Garden’s gorgeous grounds can be seen sparkling in the daylight hours or artfully lit during their Tropical Chihuly Nights tour.

Animal lover? Visit Downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park for the First Annual Doggy Fest this Saturday. A walk in Downtown’s vibrant waterfront park is the perfect way to demonstrate pet appreciation. You’ll also have the opportunity to catch Miami City Ballet’s latest performance at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. In “Hear the Dance,”  the company will bring to life George Balanchine’s famous words “See the music, hear the dance” with Twyla Tharp’s Nine Sinatra Songs featuring costuming by Oscar De la Renta, as well as Paul Taylor’s Mercuric Tidings and George Balanchine’s Symphony in Three Movements.

And always love trying new amazing restaurants in Miami! Looking forward to Seagrape, Michelle Bernstein’s new creation in the Thompson Hotel on Saturday night.  Last weekend we tried Matador in the new Edition hotel. We bowled with the kids then had an amazing dinner! A must try! Enjoy exploring the hottest areas of our city this weekend.
