Total house sales in Miami-Dade County increased 8.8 percent year over year in October 2021, from 2,737 to 2,978. Due to a scarcity of inventory weak Covid19 comps, Miami single-family home transactions fell 12.4 percent, from 1,326 to 1,161. (stats are in comparison to major rebound demand last year). Existing condo sales in Miami jumped 28.8 percent, from 1,411 to 1,817. Miami has recorded 32,940 existing total property sales in 10 months, surpassing the previous yearly record of 30,041 transactions in the whole year of 2013, a 9.7 percent gain. Miami house sales were increasing before to the pandemic, but the growth of remote work has intensified demand for Miami real estate.
