Pop ups have become a regular happening here. Since many seasonal residents are sticking around longer, brands are still going strong with special shopping activations. Here’s a look at some chic new stores and events that are scheduled throughout April and May. Happy hunting.

Jacob & Co.

Jacob & Co., whose founder’s unique, blinged-out watches and jewelry inspired the moniker “Jacob the Jeweler,” opened a pop up in Bal Harbour Shops. The chrome- and black lacquer-adorned space showcases exclusives like the Scarface-themed Opera watch, as well as new timepieces including the Fleurs De Jardin with a butterfly tourbillon.

Hadleigh’s, an American label made in Italy, offers its men’s and women’s collections in the Colony Hotel’s Solarium from May 1-2. Founders and designers Ed and Gable Shaikh (he focuses on menswear, while she does women’s and children’s) named their Dallas-born brand after their eldest daughter. Looks ranges from casual to black tie.

Stitch Lab

Andrea Chediak and Karina Rosendo, style setters with a television background at Univision, are bringing their Stitch Lab market to the Miami Design District from April 30-May 2. The concept celebrates Latin American designers who often create with sustainable practices and lack representation outside their countries. Shop women’s fashions and home items.

Curio at Faena Bazaar

After testing the waters, Curio at Faena Bazaar is transitioning from a pop up to permanent. The multistory concept features new, exclusive fashion brands, a book nook curated by Taschen and an outpost of New York’s Morphew Vintage. Other lifestyle needs range from DanceBody’s classes to a pending Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar.

Girl from Huntersville

Amid the Miami Design District’s luxury labels like Gucci and Dior, emerging fashion designer Tina Brehon presents the inaugural collection of her Girl from Huntersville lifestyle brand. Summery women’s pieces, as well as Adidas’ Stan Smith sneakers and upcycled, original tracksuits are available at her pop up (151 NE 41st Street) through May 3.

Village Shops Vero Beach

It’s always a sign that the snowbirds are headed back up north when the Village Shops in Vero Beach hosts its annual sidewalk sale. The beloved event’s dates have been permanently moved a month later. Boutiques such as J. McLaughlin, Cashmere Beach and Belle Cose, which regularly presents trunk shows, are participating May 20-22.
