W South Beach

Perhaps a case of keeping up with the Joneses, W South Beach’s new holistic, natural-themed look resembles its neighboring 1 Hotel. The $30-million makeover, from over 400 guestrooms to the 9,000-square-foot Away spa, features abundant pale wood and natural light punctuated with a serene palette of pastels and neutrals. Other amenities include a revamped pool deck and blue-chip artworks from the property’s owner.

The Colony Palm Beach

The Colony Hotel’s lavish renovations involve two of Palm Beach’s biggest players. Items from Aerin Lauder’s namesake lifestyle collection decorate the new Villa Jasmine, and Kemble Interiors transitioned the lobby into the Living Room for coffee and cocktails. The latter dazzles with a towering pagoda and de Gournay’s first-ever, custom wallpaper—a Florida scene of crocodiles and panthers frolicking on a pink background.

Fisher Island Club

The Fisher Island Club Hotel & Resort, a Leading Hotels of the World member, tapped Miami-based Adriana Hoyos Furnishings to reimagine its Vanderbilt Mansion. Built in 1936 for the famous American family, the Mediterranean-inspired home designed by architect Maurice Fatio anchors the century-old, private island. New décor, such as Bordeaux velvet and woven textures, adorns its library, drawing room and Snooker Club.
