The Salvation Army of Broward County’s Kettle Krush 5K departs Deerfield Beach’s Quiet Waters Park on July 24, at 7 a.m. The fourth annual fundraiser invites participants of all ages to don Christmas-themed attire and walk or run the course in person or virtually. Registrants receive T-shirts, and an awards ceremony follows for winners by age group and other categories.

Squash & Tennis Lessons
Learn or brush up on racket sports at top facilities around Florida. Squash Space Coast gives beginner lessons for players aged 10 and up at its outdoor courts in Titusville; all equipment is provided. Located in Pinecrest, the private Royal Palm Tennis Club invites non-members including juniors and adults to take tennis lessons on its collection of clay courts.

Nike Skateboarding Style
Nike’s online store released some of its official gear for the Olympic skateboarding teams for Japan, France, Brazil and the U.S. Dutch artist and skater Piet Parra designed multiple outfits and accessories from hats to his SB Dunk Low Pro “Abstract Art” sneaker in vibrant solids and prints. Items also feature birds that represent each country like roosters and toucans.

Cycling Clubs
Start peddling. The Treasure Coast Cycling Association organizes multiple weekly rides for its members in Martin, St. Lucie and Palm Beach counties, as well as participates in regular events hosted by Cycling Across America (CAAM). The Miami outpost of Rapha cycling boutique and clubhouse also schedules regular rides to destinations like Key Biscayne, the Venetian Islands and the Deering Estate.
