Castañer x Paul Smith

Paul Smith is the latest designer to collaborate with Spanish shoe maker Castañer. The British brand’s capsule collection is trickling into Castañer’s recently opened boutique in Aventura Mall—its first in the U.S. The selection features Paul Smith’s signature swirls, stripes and offbeat colors. Styles include several women’s espadrilles, as well as a men’s espadrille and suede loafer/espadrille.

Fashion designer Alvin Valley has popped up for season in the charming Via Mizner off Worth Avenue. Known as the king of pants, he’s built a loyal following for perfect-fitting cuts like the iconic 111 style introduced in 2000. Jupiter style destination Lola Dré expanded with a second location across the way at Harbourside Place. Called Sand by Lola Dré, the offshoot caters to more casual collections including resort and swim. Gucci x Ken Scott

The late tastemaker Ken Scott is having a moment thanks to his extensive archive’s new owner.
