Pumpkin Towne

The same folks behind Tree Towne set up Pumpkin Townes in Jupiter, Stuart and Wellington. These Halloween hubs operate from October 8-31. Gather the gang to pick out perfect pumpkins to carve jack-o-lanterns. They also offer varieties for pies and those adorable minis to place on your desk. Find all your holiday extras such as carving tools, corn stalks and candles, too.

Café Boulud

You can tell Café Boulud’s executive chef Rick Mace has a blast planning his seasonal menus. He just released his fall lineup with gourmet twists at every turn like turnip vichyssoise. Poultry lovers can tuck into coq au vin, smoked quail in blackberry sauce or honey-glazed duck breast. Split the butternut squash risotto with aged cheddar, so everyone gets a decadent spoonful.

Sprouts in Stuart

Shop for fall fare at Sprouts Farmers Market’s new Stuart location that opens October 7. The 300+ store chain really did start as a California farm stand before evolving into a natural and organic grocery. It’s going big with pumpkin spice and butternut squash. The former flavors dairy-free “eggnog” to almond butter, while the latter appears in pasta sauce to tortilla chips.

The Royal’s Pop-up Patch for Philanthropy

Get into the fall spirit and support Palm Beach County’s Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope at the same time. Simply pre-register here to visit the Royal Poinciana Plaza’s Pop-Up Patch for Philanthropy from October 10-18. The suggested donation for a pumpkin box featuring heirloom varieties, among the wide selection, is $30, and shoppers also have the option for curbside pickup.

Oktoberfest Pours

Wet your whistle with these seasonal beverages. Sailfish, one of Florida’s biggest breweries, issued an authentic, German-style, medium-body Märzen. As a bonus this year, fans can buy it outside the Fort Pierce-based taproom at craft beer stores statewide. For premier artisanal hard ciders, you’re best to order from the Asheville area’s Appalachian Ridge orchard and vineyard. (Or take a trip and rent its newly refurbished, historic farmhouse.)
