When a South Floridian thinks of The Collection, they think of Aston Martins, Ferraris, Maseratis and other high-end cars. However, public records show that The Collection might take on a new meaning based on December 2013 paperwork. It appears that Coral Gables Luxury Holdings closed on a 2.8 acre site to be developed next to the luxury auto dealership.

The Collection Residences are in planning stages in Coral Gables

The mixed-use project, which could wind up costing $84 million to build, was acquired for $27 million according to the Real Deal. The 10-story residential building will be designed by local powerhouse Arquitectonica and the renderings account for 270 high-end residences along with about 40,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
