Art Basel’s Switzerland fair in June was a tremendous success. Some 70,000 attendees flocked to view works at 289 exhibitors. Highlights ranged from the $40-million sale of Louise Bourgeois’ Spider, to Jeff Koons’s Moon Phases NFT series at $2 million apiece, to Chance the Rapper’s premiere of his music video with art by Yannis Davy Guibinga. Keith Haring in the House

Timed for “Confrontation: Keith Haring and Pierre Alechinsky,” an exhibit that compares the two 20th-century artists through October 2, NSU Art Museum hosts a Pride Month lecture on June 26. “A Sense of Pride” dives into the late Haring’s world of 1980s New York regarding art, nightlife and his gay rights activism.

The Cummer Museum of Art presents “Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon: Masterworks from the Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller III Collection at Asia Society” from June 25-September 18.
