Beatlemania Benefit

The Fab Four will be with us in spirit at Rockin’ the Sunset Concert for a Cause. St. Francis Reflections Foundation and ONE Sotheby’s International Realty are sponsoring a family-friendly Beatles tribute concert at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera on February 4. The fundraiser benefits various programs for children and veterans.

Harlem Nights

Jazz Age Harlem comes back to life during New World Symphony’s “I Dream a World: The Harlem Renaissance and Beyond” from February 1-5. The multi-disciplinary festival features piano, orchestra and chamber music recitals, guest speakers, poetry readings, an art exhibition and a film screening that celebrate the significant contributions of Black artists.

Friday Fiesta

“La Fiesta: A Tribute to Chick Corea” honors the legendary American jazz pianist and composer who passed away in Florida last year. Miami-based Dr. Zach Bartholomew’s trio band (pictured) performs a selection from Corea’s immense oeuvre such as “Humpty Dumpty” and “Blues for Art” at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center on January 28.
