Summer downtime is a great opportunity to get a little shopping out of the way before school starts and season ramps up again. Whether a fine jewelry collector, hostess with the mostess or clotheshorse, we’ve got you covered. Read on for all your shopping news.

Sotheby’s Jewelry Auctions

Jewelry lovers are in luck with two Sotheby’s auctions that focus on the category. “Sculpture to Wear” gives collectors a chance to don a work by the likes of Jeff Koons and Niki de Saint Phalle. “Fine Jewels” offers a variety of pieces from Chanel, Bulgari, David Webb, Oscar Heyman and more.

Maison Margiela

Of Maison Margiela’s five U.S. stores, only its recently opened Miami location features Dutch architect Anne Holtrop’s new design. The bilevel boutique celebrates the edgy fashion brand’s minimalist aesthetic with hand-cast plaster walls and travertine furnishings. The full men’s and women’s offering includes limited-edition Replica Bianchetto and Tabi Bianchetto footwear.

BHS Marketplace

Patrons of Bal Harbour Shops can purchase pieces from all their favorites stores through the center’s new digital shopping platform. Simply go to its website, click “Shop Now” and browse by category (men, women, children) or theme (blanc de blanc, aprés pool). Visitors can also hit editorial features’ “shop the look” button.

TravisMathew, a men’s and boys’ sports and leisure clothing brand based in southern California, is spreading its Florida footprint. Following a Tampa location, it plans to launch stores in Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens by summer’s end. Its signature performance fabrics are ideal for playing golf and other activities here.

Veronica Beard

Looking for a pretty addition for your tabletop? Women’s fashion collection Veronica Beard introduced limited-edition table linens that celebrate its summery, signature florals. Choose from the Boho Vine print in green and white or blue and coral. Romantic tablecloths, napkins, placemats and picnic blankets come in washable, 100% cotton.

Kids Atelier

Popular with parents on the West Coast, Kids Atelier is slowly making its way across the country. The designer fashion destination for mini-me clotheshorses from babies to teenagers carries labels like Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons and Dolce & Gabbana. After Aventura, it opened a second Florida store in Miami.
