The Scoop | Week of July 19

Summer break can seem anything but to parents. With the start of the school year not quite close enough, we still need ideas to entertain kids (and keep them out of our hair). Hobe Lake Ski Club

Hobe Lake Ski Club is serious about water skiing (and in a safe environment). The members-only club on a palm tree-ringed private lake teaches all ages on its brand-new Ski Nautique boat. In addition to summer camps, it offers individual and group lessons by two professional water-ski coaches who specialize in different skill sets.
