Famous for its stars noting stellar cuisine, The Michelin Guide released its first-ever Florida edition with a focus on Miami, Orlando and Tampa. A dozen Miami eateries made the list, including L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon—the only two-starred entry—and Ariete, Boia De, Cote, The Den at Sushi Azabu, Elcielo Miami, Hiden, Le Jardinier, Los Felix, Stubborn Seed and The Surf Club Restaurant, all of which were awarded one star. Swank Steakhouse

The Okeechobee Steakhouse, the state’s oldest steakhouse owned by the same family in its original location dating to 1947, opened Lewis Steakhouse in Jupiter. Beyond signature prime chops and an exceptional wine list, the location adds exclusive dishes like a butter poached shrimp topper, prosciutto-wrapped Alaskan halibut and a beef flight for deux.

Its Bar Molino, Spanish Wine Bar and Kitchen and the Swinerie, a Charcuterie Market will open next door to each other in August. The latest incarnation of the historic Murdock’s grocery store turned restaurant for several years now reopened as Murdock’s Bistro and Char Bar.
