Far too often, our busy lives make us forget to enjoy Florida’s beautiful natural surroundings. Treat yourself this Memorial Day weekend by visiting one of our plentiful parks or nature attractions and taking a bike ride, walk, paddle or swim. It will help you reconnect with why so many people choose to live here, and, hopefully, start a new routine. Here’s to a happy and healthy holiday.

A Japanese cypress gate inspired by those found at samurai estates during the Edo period leads to its Roji-en gardens. These six living exhibits depict Japanese garden design dating from the ninth to the 20th centuries.
