If you haven’t visited Mayors lately, think again. The South Florida-born, luxury watch and jewelry store with 15 locations isn’t your mother’s Mayors. The company is courting millennials with a full-blown makeover from branding to store redesigns complete with tech tools and hip concierge lounges. Among its handful of locations throughout South Florida, it chose Coral Gables for the state’s first flagship. (Atlanta also claims a flagship.) Its store in Shops at Merrick Park moved to a more visible, 5,000-square-foot space and adds a lush, vertical garden and full beverage menu including cafecitos from nearby Versailles. There are special pieces, too. Pamela Love, a Miami native and jewelry star in New York these days, designed an exclusive collection of moon phase rings and spiky earrings, while Mikimoto’s new Regalia pearl collection was flown in from Japan just for the grand opening. Messika and collaborations with JB Star and Uneek are currently on display, too, while Roberto Coin’s anticipated capsule collection arrives in September. Watch collectors can browse timepieces from Rolex, Cartier, Breitling, Tag Heuer, and more. The updated décor is equally glamorous. Calacatta marble floors and dove gray carpeting offset ebonized wood and brass screens to designate three areas such as watches and bridal. At the entrance, a gallery-like pop up rotates designers.

Regina’s Grocery, the modern iteration of the mom-and-pop stores found on every corner of Brooklyn, is bringing its New York sandwich shop to South Beach. Mother-son founders Regina and Roman Grandinetti open in Urbanica The Meridian Hotel on July 15. The chic spot joins a growing crop of tasty, artisanal eateries along the Fifth Street corridor like Under the Mango Tree. Its menu lists more than a dozen sandwiches named for friends and family, such as two versions featuring Genova Italian tuna: Uncle Rocco with fresh mozzarella and broccoli rabe, or Grandma Lucy with provolone and olive spread. Cousin Steven must be a vegetarian since his sandwich sticks to plant-based ingredients including caponata, mozzarella and arugula. Weekly specials are reserved for hot classics such as chicken parm. All are served on stirato bread, or skip the bread and turn your sandwich into toppings for an arugula salad.

Movie buffs are in for a treat tomorrow. The Norton Museum of Art unveils the most comprehensive museum exhibition of Old Hollywood movie posters on July 12. “Coming Soon: Film Posters from the Dwight M. Cleveland Collection” culls 215 prime posters from the Chicagoan’s massive collection. Remarkably preserved, the original promotional materials cover a range of film genres from sci-fi to Westerns and span the silent era to the late Eighties. Viewers will take a trip down memory lane with posters for classics like “Casablanca,” “Singin’ in the Rain,” “North by Northwest” and even “Moon Over Miami,” a 1941 musical starring Don Ameche and Betty Grable. After tonight’s members preview, the museum hosts a conversation with guest curator Matthew Bird on July 12 at 6 p.m. Stay for music from classic films performed by Rome-based Quartetto Orfeo.

DestinationMiami, a trade show at Faena Bazaar, houses a vintage fashion boutique for the public. Paraiso, a multi-platform activation at Miami Beach’s Collins Park, hosts pop-up shops and talks at its bilevel Paraiso Bungalow. Olivela, a women’s designer retailer, donates 20 percent of sales for every item to women’s charities. Other participating brands are Chopard, Aloha Collection and Tropic of C. Nu Wave Swim debuts at Miami Beach Botanical Garden with runway shows by Red Carter, Gottex, Tori Praver and more brands, along with cuisine by Michael Schwartz, a Bar Bevy lounge, and Bungalow Bazaar’s pop up with fashion collections such as Egan Day jewelry, Krelwear knits, the Onikas handblocked caftans, and Maru Jordan swimwear.
