The Scoop: Weekend of October 11th

Trattoria Travels

Broward-born Casa D’Angelo has come a long way from its original trattoria in 1998 on North Federal Highway. Chef Angelo Elia launched the fourth location in Aventura for his addictively sauced pastas and grilled, 16-ounce veal chop with wild mushrooms, a grand version of veal Marsala. Return for jazzy brunches.

The Great Pumpkin

Got a minute? That’s how long one person at a time can experience “Yayoi Kusama: All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins,” an immersive installation at the Institute of Contemporary Art, on October 12. The world-renowned artist’s first “Infinity Mirror Room” in Miami will be housed in a nearby space from October 12 through January 31, 2020.

Hunting Season, a South Florida-based designer accessories collection hand-crafted by artisans in Colombia, released a new bag style that fits the bill. Called the Body, the napa leather beauty comes in cognac, tan, navy and black.
