As you all know by now I’m a happy Coconut Grove resident, wife, mom of 4, and I’m always auditing community news for fun activities to enjoy solo or as a family. In that spirit I’m going to begin sharing my picks for top happenings in South Florida each Tuesday. The events selected will highlight the fact that there is something for every age range and interest in our blossoming community.
Justin Timberlake
I think we can all appreciate the talents of Justin Timberlake enough to get excited about his concert tomorrow at the American Airlines Arena. Last minute tickets to The 20/20 Experience are available on StubHub. Another performance must this week is the Flamenco Festival ending March 8th. The tour at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County has included six performances of world-class flamenco dance and music
A chocolatey festival
The Fine Beverage and Chocolate Show at Pinecrest Gardens is this weekend. It features “The Miami Smoke Affair” pop-up cigar lounge, craft beers, chocolate-y liqueurs, gourmet chocolate companies, cooking demos and a global group of restaurants. This festival which started in Chicago 2012 was launched in Miami in response to local demand for a specialty chocolate and craft beverage concept. Can’t wait to see drool worthy pictures of you with sweet treats in the South Florida sun!
